Orders & Payment

All Steinberg jewelry pieces are custom made to order.

To begin production, full payment is required in advance. Once payment has been received, the design process officially begins.

All prices displayed or quoted include:

  • Worldwide shipping
  • Insurance
  • Taxes and customs fees

The price paid at checkout is the final price. Clients will not be charged additional import duties, customs fees or shipping costs upon delivery.

Custom Design Process

At Steinberg, every piece is created through a personalized one-on-one process.

Step 1 — CAD Design

Within approximately 5–7 business days after payment, we provide a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) rendering of the jewelry piece for approval.

At this stage, clients may request modifications to:

  • Stone size
  • Setting style
  • Band width
  • Claw/prong style
  • Gold or platinum weight
  • Diamond accents
  • Overall proportions and design details

Please note that modifications requiring additional gold, platinum or diamonds may result in a price adjustment.

Step 2 — Diamond Selection

Once the CAD design has been finalized, we assist the client with selecting the center stone and any additional diamonds.

For diamond jewelry featuring stones from approximately 0.50ct and above, we provide:

  • IGI certificates
  • Diamond videos
  • Close-up images
  • Multiple stone options when available

Clients may select from our existing inventory or request custom sourcing based on their preferred:

  • Shape
  • Size
  • Color
  • Clarity
  • Cut style
  • Proportions

We also offer rare and custom-cut diamonds including:

  • Old Mine Cut
  • Old European Cut
  • Rose Cut
  • Step Cut
  • Antique-inspired cuts
  • Elongated custom proportions

Step 3 — Production

Once the CAD design and diamonds have been approved, the jewelry enters production.

At this point, no further modifications can be made.

Production typically requires approximately 2–3 weeks depending on the complexity of the piece.

Before shipping, we provide final:

  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Close-up details of the completed jewelry

Shipping & Delivery

Once production is complete, the jewelry is securely shipped to the client.

Estimated delivery timeframe:

  • 1–2 weeks depending on destination country and courier timelines

All shipments are fully insured.

Returns & Exchanges

Because all Steinberg jewelry is custom made specifically for each client, custom orders are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving:

  • CAD designs
  • Diamond selections
  • Specifications
  • Ring sizes

before production begins.

Once the CAD design and diamond selection have been approved and production has started, the order becomes final.

Repairs & Warranty

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every Steinberg piece.

Steinberg includes a 6-month repair policy from the date of delivery covering reasonable manufacturing-related repairs.

During this period, clients may send their jewelry back to us for repair service free of charge.

The client is responsible for shipping the jewelry back to Steinberg for inspection. Once repaired, we will ship the item back to the client.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage
  • Misuse
  • Loss or theft
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by third-party modifications or repairs
